Delete your account in the app
If you can sign in, this is the quickest way. It only takes a few taps:
- Open the Serendib app.
- Tap the ⚙️ Settings icon at the top right of the Discover screen.
- Tap "Delete my account".
- Confirm by tapping "Yes, delete forever".
That's it. Your account is deleted right away, and it's permanent — there's no undo, so please only do this if you're sure.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove everything tied to it:
- Your profile and all your details
- Your photos and videos
- Your matches
- Your messages
- Your likes
- All of your other personal data
Nothing is kept after deletion — we don't hold onto a copy. The only exception is the small amount of information the law may require us to keep for a limited time (for example, basic records to prevent fraud or abuse). Everything else is gone for good.
Can't log in? Ask us to delete it for you
If you can't get into your account, we'll handle the deletion for you. Just send us an email:
Please email us from the same email address that's on your Serendib account, so we can be sure it's really you. We honor every deletion request within 30 days. The address is support@meetserendib.com and the subject is "Delete my account".
Your privacy matters to us. We never sell your data, and deleting your account means it's truly gone.
